Knight Point Systems Achieves Coveted CISCO Gold Status in Record Time

July 24, 2014 – Reston, VA – Knight Point Systems (Knight Point), LLC, a Reston-based leading technology solutions provider, announced that it has acquired the coveted Gold Certification from Cisco Systems. The Gold certification has been around for over 20 years and Knight Point went through the entire process in less than 100 days — a feat that has never occurred before, worldwide, with any Cisco partner. The Cisco Channel Partner program provides Knight Point with the resource framework to develop an expertise to sell, plan, design, implement and operate Cisco networking solutions. To earn Gold certification, Knight Point was required to meet or surpass the rigorous service, support, customer satisfaction and networking competency requirements set forth by Cisco.

“Receiving the Gold Partner status is a great achievement for Knight Point,” says Doug Duenkel, Chief Operating Officer of Knight Point. “We are committed to giving our customers the extra service and support they deserve and this partnership will allow us to do just that.” Through the Cisco Gold Certified Partners Program, Knight Point will now have access to additional technical and lifecycle services training and resources, perks which will be passed on to Knight Point’s customers through higher-level customer service and expertise.

Cisco’s Gold Certification confirms that KPS offers the highest range of expertise across vertical technologies known as “architectures“ – Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, Data Center Virtualization. Gold Certified Partners have also integrated the deepest level of Cisco Lifecycle Services expertise into their offerings and demonstrate measurably high levels of customer satisfaction. By obtaining Cisco’s Gold Certification, Cisco recognizes KPS as a partner with expertise in deploying solutions based on Cisco advanced technologies and services. Using a third-party audit process, the program validates a partner’s technology skills, business practices, customer satisfaction, demo/lab, pre- and post-sales support capabilities, and other critical factors that customers consider when considering a trusted partner.

KPS holds the following Advanced Cisco Specializations: Data Center Architecture; Collaboration Architecture; and Borderless Network Architecture.
