Knight Point Systems Honored with GSA Mentor-Protégé Award

May 21, 2015 – Reston, VA – On May 13, 2015, GSA recognized Knight Point Systems (KPS) at the 2015 GSA Mentor-Protégé Awards Ceremony. KPS received GSA’s Annual Mentor-Protégé Award for Fiscal Year 2014 for demonstrating exceptional performance in mentoring its small business protégé company, Defense Point Security (DPS).

Through the Mentor-Protégé agreement, KPS and DPS developed a great partnership and successful business growth among GSA’s Mentor-Protégé community. Through the Mentor-Protégé program, KPS shared its knowledge as an experienced prime contractor by providing corporate and business development assistance to DPS as its protégé.

As a result, DPS and KPS are an established long standing team capable of delivering quality services to the Federal Government through the use of GSA Schedules and other contract vehicles. DPS is proud that the GSA Mentor-Protégé Program and its relationship with KPS has played a considerable role in its corporate growth and overall success: DPS’ number of active employees has almost quadrupled over the last two years. KPS’ executive leadership is committed to the GSA Mentor-Protégé Program and striving for mentorship excellence. KPS will continue to share its knowledge as an experienced prime contractor by providing corporate and business development assistance to DPS as its protégé.

“The partnership between KPS and DPS has been mutually beneficial and allowed us to demonstrate our commitment to supporting small and disadvantaged businesses in the federal community. We are proud to participate in the GSA’s Mentor-Protégé Program and the award is a testament to the program’s success. We are excited to continue working with DPS,” said Robert Eisiminger, President & CEO of Knight Point Systems.
